Nannycare Stage 2 is a follow-on milk for babies from 6 to 12 months, made from whole A2 goat milk and designed to sit alongside a growing weaning diet. It comes from the UK’s goat milk formula specialists, with more than 30 years spent working only on goat milk nutrition, and every tin is produced in New Zealand at the farmer-owned Dairy Goat Co-operative.
Stage 1 kept the milk whole and Stage 2 does the same: no skimmed milk and no added whey protein, so the milk fat – including the milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) – stays exactly as it occurs naturally in goat milk. That is why no palm oil, coconut oil or fish oil needs to be added, and why the recipe contains no soy, starch, maltodextrin, corn syrup or added sugars. The only carbohydrate is lactose, the sugar naturally found in milk.
As your baby grows the recipe grows with it: Stage 2 carries more vitamin D3, calcium, phosphorus and iron than Stage 1 (calcium 59 mg, phosphorus 44 mg and iron 0.89 mg per 100 ml), plus 2′-FL, a human milk oligosaccharide, and plant-based DHA from algal oil rather than fish oil. Goat milk is naturally rich in A2-type proteins and oligosaccharides and forms softer, smaller curds than cow’s milk – one of the reasons parents of sensitive tummies choose it.
One 800 g tin makes approximately 5.6 litres of prepared formula. Use the scoop provided: 1 level scoop (4.3 g) to every 30 ml of water, and expect roughly 500 – 600 ml a day from 6 months as solid food starts taking over. Nannycare is not certified organic, and goat milk formula is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance – always speak to your doctor or health visitor before switching formula.

Powdered formula is not sterile, so please follow these instructions carefully. Failure to follow them may make your baby ill.
1. Wash your hands, then sterilise all feeding equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Boil fresh water – do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water – and leave it to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. The water needs to be at least 70 degrees C. Measure the required amount of water (see the feeding guide below) into a sterilised bottle and be careful of scalding.
3. Using only the scoop provided, lightly fill it with powder and level it off with the leveller built into the rim of the tin. Always add 1 level scoop (4.3 g) for each 30 ml of water.
4. Add the required number of scoops to the cooled boiled water.
5. Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved.
6. Cool the bottle under a running cold tap until it is lukewarm, test the temperature on the inside of your wrist, then feed immediately.
Storage: keep the unopened tin in a cool, dry place – do not refrigerate. Once opened keep it airtight in a cool, dry place and use the contents within 4 weeks. Make up each feed fresh, never store made-up feeds, use within 2 hours at most and always discard unfinished feeds. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, and do not add extra scoops or anything else to your baby’s feed.
| Cooled, boiled water per feed | Scoops of powder |

| 210 ml / 7 fl oz | 7 |
Babies from 6 months onward need about 500 – 600 ml of breast milk or formula per day as solid food becomes part of the diet. This information is a guide only – your baby may need more or less than shown and may drink different amounts at different times of day; always let your baby stop when they show they have had enough. Note the volume of prepared formula is slightly greater than that of the water added. *Assumes weaning at 6 months. Scoop enclosed: 1 scoop = 4.3 g.
